Visitors to the brand new Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2022 are invited to come along to the BSP Hydraulics stand to help the family firm celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The BSP team, which specialises in supplying and servicing hydraulic technology, is showcasing its wide range of services at the very first RTX show, which is taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh from 30 June to 2 July.

The Normanton-based family firm was founded in 1992 and said it provides top class customer service and technical knowledge across all areas of the UK and Ireland.

Since its launch the company has grown its stock holding by 1,500%, allowing it to offer next-day deliveries and much shorter lead times.

The company also boasts an expert team with combined experience of over 150 years in repairing hydraulic products.

BSP is also proud to have a premier partnership with Parker Hannifin, the sole UK distributor for Hydro Leduc, and is an authorised distributor for Bezares and Kazel.

The firm also offers a hose and fittings division, providing complete hose assemblies and in 2020 it opened the UK’s first Parker Store Truck Hydraulics Centre.

This year BSP is launching a mobile hydraulic hose replacement service and its electrification and hybrid product range, alongside a series of open days for customers to view is new product range.

Doug Conyers, managing director, says the team is looking forward to welcoming visitors to the stand at RTX this summer: “Our team’s wealth of technical knowledge is top class and really does separate us from other companies within our industry."

He added: “There is nothing we don’t cover when it comes to hydraulics and our varied technical knowhow enables us to help customers quickly and efficiently.”

Builders merchants Frank Key has added a pair of Volvo FL 250 4x2 rigids to its fleet.

The 16-tonners, which have Ranch Truck and Trailer dropside bodies and HMF cranes, were supplied by Hartshorne Group.

Commenting on the newcomers, which will be used for multi-drop deliveries to Frank Key’s customers in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire, Neil Lunn, transport manager at Frank Key, said: “The trucks are ideal for what we need them for. The FLs have good manoeuvrability. Volvo is a brand that we like and trust, plus we get good support from the team at the local dealer.”

The FLs will be joined by two 26-tonne Volvo FEs in the coming months.

Volvo Trucks will be exhibiting at Road Transport Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh (30 June to 2 July). Register now for FREE.
