ENZED was founded in 1972, and has since been a leading supplier, installer, and repairer of Hydraulic hoses and connectors in both New Zealand and Australia.

Waters has been sponsored by the company for over a decade, seeing his journey into Supercars from his beginnings in Sprint cars, Formula Ford speedway, and Dunlop Super2 to present day, where the Mildura born ace currently occupies second in the Drivers’ Championship.

“ENZED has been a huge supporter of my career, so it’s cool to give them a nod as tribute to their 50 th  anniversary.” Waters said.

“I’ve had a great relationship with ENZED for a really long time, they’ve been on board with me virtually every step of my career and we’ve shared a lot of great highlights together.

“We’re running the number 50 on my car in recognition of ENZED’s 50 th  anniversary, and to do it in ENZED’s hometown of Auckland is a nice little gesture. It’s going to be a huge weekend, especially with this being the last Supercars event at Pukekohe, so we’re definitely aiming to get up on the top step of the podium and add another memory to the bank.”

The company has seen Waters meteoric rise through his 2011 Formula Ford championship, his 2015 Super2 title, and his Modified Production national speedway title in 2018.

“It’s really nice to see Cam and the team at Tickford helping us celebrate ENZED’s 50 th  anniversary when they head across to Pukekohe,” said ENZED Distribution & Marketing Manager Australasia, Mark Engel.

“We’ve of course had a tremendous relationship with Cam ever since he was a pup, he’s been a fantastic ambassador for us over the years, representing and connecting with our ENZED Service Centres and Hose Doctors around Australasia.

“We first partnered with Tickford when Cam came to the team in 2014, and have created a great working relationship with both of them over the years that we are very proud of.

“ENZED has come a very long way since its humble beginnings in Auckland in 1972, and seeing Cam drive the No. 50 ENZED-supported Supercar racing at Pukekohe will be a great part of our 50 th  anniversary celebrations.”

Waters’ #50 Tickford Mustang will take to the track at the Auckland SuperSprint on September 9-11 at the Pukekohe Park Raceway, south of Auckland.
