Hennessey Performance is nothing if not audacious. This latest creation takes the already stout Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk with a supercharged 707 hp Hellcat motor and ups the ante to over 1,200 hp with its HPE1200 Engine Upgrade Package. This officially makes the Hennessey prepped Trackhawk the fastest SUV on earth with a quarter mile time of 9.6 seconds at 145 mph. Let's see how Hennessey managed to do it.
Hennessey starts by thoroughly massaging the factory supercharged 6.2 liter Hellcat V8 engine and fitting it with a number of upgrades. They start off by disassembling the motor and installing upgraded forged pistons, rods, porting the cylinder heads, installing a custom ground roller cam, long tube stainless steel headers, and - perhaps the biggest production unit I've ever seen - a 4.5 liter Supercharger! That's bigger than most engines on the market! After a custom dyno tune and 109 octane in the tank with 22 pounds of boost, the HPE1200 generates roughly 1200 hp and 1100 lb-ft at the crank. Hennessey finishes the build by installing a set Nitto 555R 275/40-20 drag radial tires on all four wheels.

With a 60 ft. time of 1.54 seconds, and 1/8th mile time of 6.27 seconds at 115 mph, and on to 9.66 seconds at 145 mph in the quarter, the Hennessey Trackhawk HPE 1200 is the world's quickest SUV.
The base price for the HPE1200 Trackhawk package is $179,000, which includes the price of a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. It can, however, be fitted on any 2018-2020 Jeep Trackhawk. Production is limited and available for export to international markets. The Hennessey Trackhawk can be purchased directly from Hennessey or from select Jeep dealers across the globe. Buckle up.
